Our Life in Photos

I wish I had more time to blog - I feel like I am really missing a connection to friends and family when I don't.  Life is so busy lately - I haven't figured out how to do everything in the day I would like too.  I guess I'll keep working on it though.

Our family's biggest news since I last blogged - Michael, our son-in-law was baptized.  David had the honor of baptizing him and Maurice had the privilege of confirming him. We are so excited for him.  He has taken an incredible step in his life.  His testimony continues to grow and he just shines.  David and I are so grateful to have him in our family - he is an excellent husband to our daughter and an incredible father to our grandchildren.  We look forward to the day they are sealed as an eternal family.

 

 

 

Halloween was also a time of first's for two of our grandchildren - they look so adorable in their little costumes!  Bridget was a lion:

Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of Nevaeh - she was Alice from Twilight.  They were out the door too quick.  Maybe I'll have her dress up again and get a "late" photo!

I am currently at crop camp in Red Lodge - I have completed 5 Layouts - hopefully I can upload them tomorrow!

Time for an Update

I can't even begin to express how blessed I feel today.  I am surrounded by all of my children and grandchildren and a home full of love!!!  I never imagined that I would have such incredible blessings
when I was growing up!  I married the most incredible man and received the most incredible family as a gift!  It is a good life!

How about some photos? It is so amazing how quickly children grow.  I look at Bridget today at 5 months old and she looks like a moose compared to Joshua who is 2 weeks old.  I decided to place them on a blanket sis by side just to compare - WOW.

Our sweet Bridget has those incredible Lynch eyes! Just like her sisters and brother.  They are the most incredible blue!

Some Creative Time

I feel a little more inspired to scrapbook - especially with my grandchildren and all the photos we have taken recently.  I have three completed pages from various events. 

This first LO is of our newest grandson, Joshua.  He is now one week old - I can hardly believe it.  This LO design is taken from a sketch over at Page Maps - I absolutely love Becky Fleck's designs.  I hope to meet her someday.  If you get a chance - check out the Page Maps Blog. I think you will be inspired too!

The Cousins LO is from my niece, Jennifer's wedding. I love this photo of all the "Asay" cousins here in Billings.  They grew up together and there is such a special bond between.  I would say they are more like sisters, than cousins.

This next LO is of our Grandson, Damien.  He is such a little cutie - I wanted to capture his energy and vitality for life.

Our Newest Family Member

Announcing the birth of Joshua David - born on August 29th.  This little angel is Sara's little boy and what a sweetheart he is:

Our family is very exited about this newest addition.  I see some scrapbook pages coming up :)

Can you believe I took some time off from work?  Believe me, it was very much needed!  I wish I could say that it has been totally refreshing - but there has been too much to do.  Tiel and her family have moved in, Brittanny has moved out and Sara is going stir crazy getting ready for her baby to arrive. We had planned to go see our family in Utah, who we miss very much, unfortunately that didn't work out this month, our children needed us here.

In our efforts to say we did go on vacation, David and I decided to see if we could escape for a day or two and go to Yellowstone Park. We left Monday morning and returned Tuesday afternoon.  We loved the time away, the incredible view, the snow (yes snow) and the peace and quiet!  We are now back home - life is still crazy busy and we have some great new photos to remind us of our little escape!

Too Long Gone...

I know it has been two months since I last posted - I had ever intention of writing sooner but, somehow m crazy life prevents that from happening.  Shall I attempt to catch you up?

Our home is no longer an empty nest.  Tiel and her family have moved in for awhile to try and get back on their feet.  They are working hard and trying to do everything they can that is best for their little family.  heir baby, Bridget is now 3 months old and growing like a week (teething time - believe it or not). Let me share an updated picture of their family.

Sara is also at home and her baby is due in about 6 weeks.  She is struggling with being incredibly uncomfortable and extremely hot with our recent weather.  I know, many of us moms' can relate!

Brittanny was back home for a brief while - but, recently found a new place and is back out on her own.  She is doing very well, busy managing her City Brew store.

Life in General

Hello dear friends and family.  I am so sorry for the length of time between posts - things have been so crazy (and not in a good way).  Life stresses have taken over and I find I am having very little time to play and/or be creative.  I am truly hoping to change that this weekend.

I have another blog candy give-a-way coming this weekend - so make sure to check back and see what I am offering for June :)

I hope to share some pages and pictures of the new grandbaby too.
